When printing directly using your IST laptop or desktop and not using Google Cloud Print you open your file and choose Print
The Print job is then sent to the Print server. In your dock the printer icon will display with the number of print jobs it is processing
Open the Printer by clicking on it and you can see the status of the jobs that you have sent to the printer. If the print job shows as Paused please click 
un-pause button to ensure the job is sent to the printer.
Additionally make sure that the printer is not paused by green button displays "Pause". Please click this button if it displays "Resume".
This will enable your print job to be sent to the printer
Once your print job has been successfully sent to the printer the Printer tray will be empty:
You are than able to go to the printer and release your Print job(s).
