1. Open Chrome and navigate to "Settings."

2. Scroll to the end of the page and click "Advanced"

3. Under "Privacy and security" click "Site settings"

4. Click "Handlers"

5. Check to see Gmail is set up as a handler

6. If it is not set up open Gmail in Chrome in a new tab using the address mail.google.com and click the Protocol Handler icon

7. Allow Gmail to open all email links and click "Done",
